In addition to our pool of contracted marine pilots, all the directors and shareholders of the company are practicing marine pilots with extensive experience in major ports throughout Australia and globally. This gives clients unprecedented access to advice from pilots at the leading edge of the industry. Having successfully negotiated marine pilot service agreements with a number of Resource Company’s and Port Authorities throughout Western Australia, the directors of West Coast Pilots are uniquely placed to provide ongoing consultancy advice and support in all pilotage and maritime matters.
With 20 years in the Maritime industry, Julian has served on board LPG, LNG tankers, and Floating Production Storage and Offloading facilities (FPSO), conducted tandem off-take and Conventional Buoy Mooring (CBM) tanker pilotage and Load Master duties. He has held unrestricted pilot licenses for various Western Australian ports, has port management and development experience, and has held key marine operational roles for several major oil and gas projects in Western Australia. Julian’s diverse experience allows us to continue to provide the best advice and services to satisfy our clients’ requirements.
Rick is a qualified CPA who has worked in a variety of industries over the past 30 years, including mining, mineral processing, retail and industrial products.
Having spent time in financial and management accounting roles, he has had considerable experience in CFO roles and a Managing Directorship. Rick has most recently spent time consulting to business in a CFO capacity and business advisory role
